  2. I'm very happy with my life right now. I have others who look up to me, people who depend on me to take care of them, people who love me, and I am a leader. I'm also very proud with myself because I push for what I believe in, and I push myself to get what I want (in a non-materialistic way.) This gives me hope for my future because it is the ground work for how I will keep going with my life and how persistent I will be when I believe in something in the future.

  4. I am very content with my life right now. I received a letter from a college coach about softball. My brother is home from the war and I have a job that I like. My family and friends are always there for me to keep me going and help me achieve my dream in the future.

  5. I'm happy with my life right now, but I think that I am somewhat slacking, which could hold me back in the long run. I'm a junior, and all I know is that I want to go to college. I don't know what for, and I don't know where. I don't even know what I would like to do for a living. Even though I don't know much about my college choices yet, I'm on the right track to get there. I do well in school, and I stay active with sports. I focus on doing well in school, and maintaining honor roll throughout the school year. Once I start to think about my future in detail, I will be able to be completely happy with where I am in life today. The only thing that is actually holding me back right now is myself. I don’t know these things, and once I’m able to figure them out I should be fine.

  6. I'm not going to try to sound emo and say my life sucks, but I'm not so happy with it. I don't mind my life. I have a nice family, nice house, good grades and nice material things. But I feel like I can’t be me. What I’m missing aren’t materialistic things, I think it is more self-confident and more family support. I will like to sometimes being able to be like a 16 years old girl. I will like to hang out with my friends without my mom being calling me every 5 minutes. I will love if my mom trusts a little bit more in me. It will be awesome that for once I can say whatever I want without minding other people opinion. I really don’t mind my life, I know that sooner or latter its going to change, but it will be way better if for once I were able to life on my own, not under anybody’s shadow.

  7. My life definitely isn't where I want it to be. I expected a lot more of myself when I was younger. I thought I'd definitely have higher goals, and thought I would have achieved goals that I still haven't met yet. I also thought I wouldn't have as many internal conflicts...
I thought I'd have a better relationship with my parents, but that doesn't work with 1 way effort. So, I can't say my life is bad, because I know a lot of people who have it worse off than me, but I wish it would be a lot better.

  8. I agree with DFuentes about the things dealing with your mom. A little trust would be nice!

  9. @JHilliard; I agree exactly with what you said. Its my junior year and I have to really keep up with my grades and sports and make sure I get out to visit colleges and have somewhat of an idea of what I want to do and once all of that is out of the way life wont be as stressful.

  10. I would say that I am content in life. All i ever want in life at the moment are new books, Hawaiian Shirts, and new games. I just want a fairly simple life.

  11. I am very happy with my life, because many people respect me as a leader. When I was younger I would have never thought that I would be where I am today. I use to have lower standards, and to see where I ended up is amazing. For example I'm in girls scouts, and I never use to care about it so much and was very unfocused at meetings. Now that I'm older I take more pride in girl scouts. I'm one of the people in charge and get the things done that need to be done! In addition another reason I'm happy with my life is the trust my parents have in me. Unlike most of my friends and other teens my age, my parents have much faith in me. The newest thing about my relationship with my parents is allowing me to drive. So now that I have all this and im only 16, I can't wait until I get older and see how much more better a life I have and wounderful people that enter it!

  14. I am some what happy in my life. The one thing I've realized is I really need to get my head in thee game- as far as school goes. I'm not that focused as I should be. I have 2 years left and I need to get it together. My problem is I'm still in thee summer mode and i need to snap out of it lol . Other than all of that I'm very happy with my life.

  15. Where I stand in life today, I am content. I do feel like they're things that I can do to keep improving myself, and keep getting ahead. This year I'm more focused and more motivated to do better for myself. I believe if you work hard and do things in good faith, things will work out for you. I'm trying to live by that. I can improve my life more by getting my permit! I'm definitely slacking on that one. I also feel I can still improve myself more in school. Right now I'm content with my life because I'm healthy, have a great family, and still strive to do better for myself.

  16. @Ademyan; I agree with you, when you stated that your parent have trust and faith in you. My parents also have faith and trust in me. We have a great relationship. I as well, can't wait until I get older and see all the wonderful people that enter my life.

  17. For most of you, it seems school and parents are the two largest elements in your life you consider first to determine whether or not you are "happy." That makes sense, just not to me, the old teacher who has obviously different priorities. So, honestly, can you take a few seconds and ask yourself, are you happy, lucky or even grateful. Is there ever a time when you can't wait to be at a certain place or with someone who makes everything else that is fake and materialistic seem so ridiculous and not worth your stress? You all deserve this. Some of you have even identified this. Whatever it takes, in the futures you encounter, don't compare your happiness to others if it will only make you unhappy. Enjoy everything and admire your own self!!
